HTP Static Rope

Being 100% polyester ropes, they are very low-stretch and very durable.  When hauling on a big wall, it can be nice to have low stretch so you don't lose energy when you pull that rope through your micro/pro traxion.  Some choose to have a spare dynamic available by hauling with another dynamic rope but that is just a more bouncy ride for the pig.  9mm is lighter and skinnier than 9.5mm (3/8"), but 9.5mm is going to last longer.  Don't fall on these ropes.  IF they held and didn't snap, you would turn into mashed potatoes.  

9 mm:

High strength and low elongation in lightweight package. A versatile static rope with super low-elongation. Great for SAR teams or for tower crews for use in lightweight hauling and anchors.

 

3/8" (9.5mm):

3/8" polyester static rope for arbor climbing rope access and lifting. Made in the USA. Good for search and rescue taglines, mountain rescue, and lightweight tensioned systems. 

 

7/16" (11mm):

Maximum strength with low stretch. A multi-use rescue and rappel rope perfect for rope rescue, rope access and efficient ascending/descending. Low-stretch properties and high-moisture resistance allow the 7/16" to operate consistently in wet and dry conditions.
