This 12-strand rope is made from sk75 HMPE, a high-strength synthetic fiber known for being extremely light and incredibly strong. It offers the same or better break strength as steel wire rope of the same size, but itās easier to handle and far lighter.
Itās highly resistant to abrasion and flex fatigue, and can be spliced. HMPE has very low stretch, which means better control and less snapback under load.
