Paracord (short for parachute cord) is the all-purpose utility rope is a go-to tool for camping, survival kits, crafting, and everyday problem-solving.

 

What makes it different than 4mm nylon accessory cord is that it's a looser weave making it extremely pliable.  In exchange, it's less durable because it's not as stiff but it flattens out easily feeling "squishy" making it useful for many projects including spacenets.
