Based on the proven construction of the Eagle Lite, Edelrid has developed a rope that is particularly robust and is still suitable for sport climbing and projecting routes. To this end, they use Protect technology, which incorporates high-strength aramid fibers into the sheath using a specially developed braiding process. This technology and the adjustment of other production parameters strengthen the sheath and increase the rope's cut resistance. For a particularly compact and fine sheath structure, the Eagle Lite Protect Pro Dry is processed on a braiding machine with 48 bobbins, which has a positive impact on handling and abrasion resistance. These features make the Eagle Lite Protect Pro Dry a reliable companion on demanding multi-pitch routes and big-wall adventures when climbing with single rope and additional tag line, where necessary.
